The Marcy PTA is very excited about participating in the Read to Succeed Program this school year. Read to Succeed is a free program from Six Flags and Discovery Education. Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading before the Marcy deadline of February 23rd, 2012, will receive a FREE admission ticket to Six Flags. Kids can read silently, aloud, or with an adult – you can read to your child, or your child can read to you.
Your child should have brought home a parent letter and student log some time this week. If for some reason you did not receive a letter, or you misplaced your student reading log, you can re-print a log here: reading_log
You must return your signed reading log to your child’s teacher by the deadline to be eligible for the free ticket. We hope that you and your child enjoy this program new to Marcy and that you spend time reading together!
